Jordan Brand released a whole lot of sneakers in 2019, but only one can claim the title as the final Jordan Brand releases of the past decade: The Air Jordan 6 Washed Denim.
Opting for a brand new look and feel, this Air Jordan 6 comes with an upper constructed out of a denim material. Yes, we’ve seen denim used on other Jordan Brand models in the past, but never on the Air Jordan 6. In an effort to switch things up a bit, not only does Jordan Brand give the denim upper a washed finish, but it also opts to cover the panels in two shades of Blue denim. What you end up getting is a denim finish with a bit of color contrast to it.
Adding a premium feel the shoe shoe is the use of the brown leather placed on the lace overlay. In an effort to offset the denim-heavy upper, Jordan Brand also utilized plenty of Black accents throughout the shoe. These Black hits can be found on areas such as the midsole, lining, laces, tongue, heel tab and the Jumpman branding on the heel. A hint of Red is also utilized on the sneaker’s design as it can be found on both the lace locks and insoles of the shoe. If you take a closer look, you will find subtle hits of 3M found on the perforations on the side panel underlays and ankle collar. The last detail of the shoe worth mentioning is the outsole which comes in a milky translucent finish.
Thoughts on the final Air Jordan release of the past decade? And also, how are you going to style these? Are you opting to pair them up with a pair of joggers, sweats or khakis? Or are you bold enough to match them up with even more denim?
